Pioneering smart telescope technology

With traditional telescopes, a meticulous alignment process is necessary before any observation session. This involves manually finding specific constellations and stars and then centering them in the telescope aperture, which requires experience and can be time-consuming. Smart Star Finder eliminates this process entirely, allowing you to admire outer space in less then a minute. There’s no need for complex settings and you can experience the breathtaking wonders of
the cosmos without delay, enjoying the details of the Orion Nebula or tracking the deployment of a passing comet’s tail.

How does Smart Star Finder work?

Once turned on, the telescope’s onboard computer connects to your smartphone’s GPS to locate itself on the Earth’s surface.

It then begins to compare the celestial objects in its field of view with its database containing the positions of tens of millions of stars. The telescope can even detect the presence of stars that are invisible to the naked eye. Embedded intelligence allows it to accurately locate its current observation on the sky map and to navigate towards the objects selected by the user in the application. Once the telescope is pointed at an object, it automatically tracks it across the sky as the earth rotates. Note that Smart Star Finder imposes no limitations on the observer regarding the objects they can observe. They are free to point the telescope in
any direction using the application’s navigation to explore the night sky as they wish.
