Unistellar is honored to announce the company’s inaugural team of global ambassadors. Each hand-selected by Unistellar’s leadership, these volunteers are tasked with expanding the reach of New Astronomy; supporting and encouraging Unistellar’s users; and serving as champions for Unistellar’s citizen science programs and community outreach campaigns. Ambassadors were selected based on active participation in Unistellar citizen science, observations, and community outreach.

The inaugural team of Unistellar ambassadors includes:

In the coming weeks, Unistellar Ambassadors will observe the top Fall objects in the night sky, host virtual events for Unistellar’s upcoming World Space Week campaign, contribute observations for the NASA Lucy Mission to the Trojan Asteroids, and much more. Two Unistellar ambassadors, Scott Kardel and Justus Randolph, recently hosted demonstrations at the Sky’s the Limit Night Sky Festival at Joshua Tree National Park – even helping one young man propose to his girlfriend while observing deep sky objects such as the Ring Nebula!

Throughout September and October, Unistellar will share ambassador biographies and observations, to help you get to know them better. Find the biographies at the Unistellar blog, as well as our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels.
