Experten verfolgen diese K\u00f6rper des Sonnensystems aufmerksam, um ihre Positionen und Flugbahnen zu erfassen. Dies hilft den Weltraumforschern zu verstehen, was im Falle eines Einschlags auf der Erde passieren w\u00fcrde und, was am wichtigsten ist, potenzielle Pr\u00e4ventivl\u00f6sungen zu finden. Letzteres wird als<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"\/citizen-science\/planetary-defense\/\">Planetare Verteidigung<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>bezeichnet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>Das Hauptziel der planetaren Verteidigung ist es, darauf vorbereitet zu sein, die Flugbahn eines erdnahen Objekts, das sich auf Kollisionskurs mit unserem Planeten befindet, zu \u00e4ndern oder anderweitig die Bedrohung zu eliminieren. Die Beobachtung dieser Objekte ist von entscheidender Bedeutung, nicht nur um potenzielle Bedrohungen zu erkennen, sondern auch, um genug \u00fcber jedes Objekt zu wissen \u2013 beispielsweise seine Gr\u00f6\u00dfe, Form, Geschwindigkeit und Flugbahn \u2013 um zu ermitteln, was n\u00f6tig w\u00e4re, um es abzulenken. Die Mission hei\u00dft<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"\/de\/nasa-dart-double-asteroid-redirection-test\/\">Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART)<\/a>: eine Raumsonde wird auf einen nahe gelegenen Asteroiden aufprallen, um dessen Umlaufbahn zu ver\u00e4ndern. Am 26. September werden wir herausfinden, was wirklich passiert, wenn wir versuchen, einen Asteroiden mit einem kinetischen Impaktor abzulenken.<\/p>\n<p>Die Dinosaurier hatten kein planetares Verteidigungsprogramm, aber wir zum Gl\u00fcck schon!
